58th CIML Meeting - Accommodation

 

 

Special room rates have been negotiated by the BIML at two hotels in Chiang-Mai, the Shangri-La Hotel (the CIML meeting venue) and the Duangtawan Hotel. Details of both are given on this page.

 

  Shangri-La Hotel*****

A block of rooms has been booked at the Shangri-La Hotel***** at a special preferential room rate, which is applicable for the Deluxe Room category (only) between 13 and 20 October 2023 inclusive.

If you wish to extend your stay at the Shangri-La Hotel either before or after the OIML meetings, please contact the hotel directly using the following email address: reservations.slcm@shangri-la.com

IMPORTANT: Please note that rooms must be booked before the cut-off date of Friday, 1 September 2023 to qualify for this rate.

Full details are given below:

• Deluxe room (43 m²): the special rate is THB 4500 (convert) per room per night for single occupancy, or THB 5000 (convert) per room per night for double/twin occupancy.
• Other room types are available, but no special rate applies. Please enquire directly with the hotel.
• Prices are inclusive of 10 % service charge, 7 % tax, and 1 % provincial tax.
• Daily buffet breakfast is included in the above room rates.
• The rate is inclusive of complimentary local call access, in-room wired internet, and Wi-Fi internet access.
• Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all rooms.
• All room and bed types are subject to availability upon confirmation.
• Check-in time is 14:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 12:00 on the day of departure.
• Delegates who wish to occupy their room before 14:00 must book the room for an additional night prior to their arrival date.
• Delegates who check out after the normal check-out time, i.e. 12:00, will be charged 50 % of the applicable special rate per room. A full night's rate per room will be charged for check-out after 16:00. Late check-out can be pre-arranged and is subject to availability.
• All bookings must be guaranteed by credit card.
• Full payment must be made when checking in.

  Duangtawan Hotel****

A block of rooms has been booked at the Duangtawan Hotel**** (located about 800 m from the Shangri-La Hotel where the CIML meeting and associated events will take place) at a special preferential room rate, which is applicable for the Superior Room and Deluxe Room categories (only) between 15 and 20 October 2023 inclusive.

If you wish to extend your stay at the Duangtawan Hotel either before or after the OIML meetings, or in the event of difficulty booking, please contact the hotel directly using the following email address: resm@dtw.co.th with "CIML Meeting" in the subject.

IMPORTANT: Please note that rooms must be booked before the cut-off date of Thursday, 14 September 2023 to qualify for this rate.

Full details are given below:

• Superior room (36 m²): the special rate is 42 euros for single occupancy or 48 euros for double/twin occupancy.
• Deluxe room (40 m²): the special rate is 48 euros for single occupancy or 53 euros for double/twin occupancy.
• Prices are inclusive of 10 % service charge and 7 % prevailing government taxes.
• Daily buffet breakfast is included in the above room rates.
• The rate is inclusive of Wifi internet access in guest rooms.
• Welcome drink upon arrival.
• Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all rooms.
• Free use of sports recreation facilities (Fitness, Swimming pool, Stream, Sauna, Aerobic & Yoga).
• All rooms and bed types are subject to availability upon confirmation.
• Check-in time is 14:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 12:00 on the day of departure.
• Delegates who wish to occupy their room before 14:00 must book the room for an additional night prior to the arrival date.

Booking and cancellation policy

Please note the following booking and cancellation policy, which applies to both of the above hotels.

1. The full amount of the total estimated room accommodation charge and food and beverage costs must be settled on arrival.
2. All reservations must be guaranteed by a major international credit card.
3. One night's room charge (i.e. one night's non-refundable deposit) applies to cancellations within 14 days of the actual arrival date.
4. Cancellation requests made 14 or more days prior to the actual arrival date will not incur any penalty charge.
